Asylum Seekers Cross to United States Amid Title 42
Families and young men are finally crossing into the United States after President Biden eliminated Former President Trump order that asylum seekers stay in Mexico until the court could review their cases.
The International Organization for Migration estimate that 10k migrants have arrived in Ciudad Juarez since October 2018, mainly from Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, El Salvador, and Cuba.

Las mujeres de Cd.Juárez muestran su frustración atreves de denuncias, protestas, arte y cualquier recurso para llamar la atención de la comunidad. El 8 de marzo las mujeres levantaron su voz y pancartas con nombres de sus amigas víctimas y también levantaron pancartas con nombre de sus agresores exigiendo justicia. Mas de 700 mujeres se unieron a la protesta anual para exigir justicia por actos de violencia en Cd.Juárez, participaron mujeres locales de El Paso y Las Cruces.
Catalyst Theft and How to Avoid It.

The catalyst is a part under your car that helps reduce pollution, but why do thieves want it? They have metals even more valuable than gold, such as palladium, silver, and rhodium. The El Paso Texas Police Department is on alert for the theft of catalysts in the city, explains that thieves are taking them to recycling plants because of the precious metals that catalytic converts contain, that cost up to $ 1,000. To protect it, you might consider putting a metal protection plate on the underside of the car or ask a body shop to write the VIN on your converter so the police can intercept the thieves.

On November 8, 2021, vaccinated tourists finally crossed to the United States by land after almost 20 months. People from Mexico were affected by not seeing their relatives or not buying products to resell them in Mexico. Reyna Flores is grateful that the bridges had reopened since this is her only source of income. The time the bridge was closed for tourists, Reyna had to sell everything in her home as an alternative.
El Paso Prepares to Reopen Bridges
International bridges will be opened on November 8, the authorities at the local level are preparing to coordinate and avoid mishaps.
Owner's stores on the border are excited to receive foreign tourists, as their sales have been effected up to 70% since March 20.

Despite the strong winds on Tuesday, the Art Installation Mariposas Campesinas or "Love Letters to Farmworkers" was successful. Children's and college students write love letters to farmworkers from the county. Student artist and ex-farm worker Jesus Del Rio designed an exhibition to portrait the butterflies and display them outside the Milton Hall building.
Rafael Domínguez is one of the many farmworkers who received letters to appreciate his 46 years working in the fields. Rafael and his colleges get paid $ 2.50 for each bucket of chiles, among other harvests such as potatoes, onion, and nuts.
NMSU CAMP is a federally-funded program to help migrant or seasonal farmworker students attend college.
CrossFit at El Paso
The Crossfit phenomenon is popular in El Paso among police officers, firefighters, soldiers, and serious athletes enthusiasts.
Crossfit is a new discipline founded in 2001 by Greg Classman, with the desire to improve physical conditioning and coordination, perfect for pushing the body to the limit.
In the Osos Negros Gym at Canutillo, the best Crossfiters from El Paso competed to demonstrate their skills and push their bodies and minds to the limit.

Chuco Relic inaugurated the 5th mural of Tino Ortega that start as a way to commemorate the 23 deaths in the Walmart Shooting on August 3 2019 in El Paso.
Tino discover the perfect spot for the first 3D balloon mural, in the middle of the heart of El Paso, on the wall of a brewery owned by a family of two of the 23 victims of the tragedy on August 23.
Tino found a way to commemorate the victims and bring at least a little comfort to the families.

Women's Day: Ciudad Juarez Remember Missing Women and Demand Justice
Woman share her experience when she was repeatedly abused as a minor, this community help her to raise her voice and normalize the demand for justice in Mexico. The veterans of "Mujeres Que Luchan" or "Women Who Fight" invited the community to join in a feminist protest on Women's Day in Mexico, to demand respect, police justice, better salaries, and among other human rights.
At least 2,500 women have been murdered in Ciudad Juarez, but the mothers of Ciudad Juarez demand a change for the future of their daughters.
El Paso Black Lives Matter Protest
The organization Brown Berets Del Chuco called for a peaceful protest this Tuesday 2nd June, to be the voice of those who have been victimized, for the innocent people who have been killed or been victims of brutality by any law enforcement.
BLM protest in El Paso, where protesters spoke out against police brutality and racism, joined nationwide demonstrations following the death of Floyd.
At some point, there were more police officers than protesters but this did not bring the enthusiasts down.
Anyone who had something to say was invited to share it, even if the opinions differed, they were accepted with respect.
Opinions of Documentarie the Three Dates of Marisela Escobedo
When Netflix released the documentary inspired in a Ciudad Juarez case, "The Three Deaths of Marisela Escobedo," about follows a mother's tireless crusade to jail her daughter's murderer after Mexico's justice system failed to do so. I felt the necessity to document Ciudad Juarez resident's opinions on this subject that and now it is in a national chain.
I interviewed a mother and activist from Ciudad Juarez about this documentary.
Republicans Protest to Recount Votes
Trump supporters gathered in Downtown El Paso on January 6, after Joe Biden was declared Joe Biden as the next President of the United States. The protest was organized by Irene Armendariz Jackson, who unsuccessfully ran against Congresswoman Veronica Escobar for Texas' 16th Congressional District. Irene wants to ensure that the election was conducted fairly, and collect $18,400 to recount the votes from the last election for the confession district in El Paso.

NMSU advocate for these projects because New Mexico's agriculture is as diverse as the state's culture, geography, and climate. New Mexico State University also strives to continue supporting CAMP students to guarantee the academic guidance to graduate from NMSU.
